Hi, haven't posted in a long time....went to the dr today... wants to switch me to Lialda, six pills once a day, and give me a colonoscopy next week . Anyone try that one yet? Just wondering. thanks. -Andrew

I am on 4 Lialda in the morning. I feel they have been key to getting me in remission. I have been doing great for about three weeks now.

Is there much difference between Lialda and Asacol?

Not sure mbx5...I think there is, but they work similarly.

I think they are the same med - mesalamines - except Lialda is time released which allows you to be able to take less.
