Bloating / flares

I have been reading this information for alwhile now and have decided to join.

Here is my story:

I was diagnosed with UC in 2006, I am 39 year old, and had was hospitalized just before my first child was born in July of 06.  I was very sick in hospital for 8 days and was on steriods and had all the symptoms...couldn't stop going to washroom, blood fatigue....etc..

I was in remission until January of this year and then it started all over again-  this time not hospital but other syptoms - this time major bloating, blood fatigue, stomach cramps are my major concerns, and I just cannot loose any weight - I have gained 15 lbs since last September.

Any ideas or input into the BLOATING - and other stuff would be highly appreciated.  Next Friday I go for my 2nd scope (both ways) I have never had a throat scope but asked for one because I think maybe something is going on there?

Thank for your quick reply.  I just went out on my lunch and purchased my first digestive enzyme .... thank you I will try andy thing.  I will keep up with my probitics as well.
