Anyone Read or Tried This?

Hmmm.. Only $19. Not much to banish colitis or to even have symptoms subside just a little. Probably worth it, but the site sure looks suspicious.

This site looks a little sketchy to me. The person talks about the lack of critical bacteria in a person with UC--well, isn't that why we're encouraged to take probiotics? And since UC is different for everyone, I don't know how she can promise "100% Satisfaction" for every person who tries it.

Sounds too good to be true i think.Another scam to make money i reckon.

What really bothers me is, why...why oh why would you try to make money off of a cure? Anyone with half a heart will freely give this information away...so to go through the long process of writing a book, editing it and publishing it, for me is solely to make money; not to help people.

The author is obviously talking about a probiotic, which many of us are taking daily anyway. Just think of it...someone claims to have a "cure" for colitis and the discovery isn't on the news or in the papers...not even on the radio. If you plan to give this person your money, at least check online with the BBB before doing anything and then fill the rest of us in as to what this authors so called "cure" is really all about.

If I had some information that I thought would be helpful to all the friends I have met through these forums, then I would gladly share it to see others get well like my family members had.

Selling it seems selfish and inhumane.

It may cost money, but the information doesn't need to be put into book form, and sold. Especially since it IS deceitful in the first place, "there is no cure"

Some people make millions...while some merely maintain...

One site I get recipes from has a way to donate to help their site continue - to me that is unselfish.

I am definately a sceptic also - I wouldn't buy it.

Do you not think that it would be unfair for someone to take advantage of the desperation of those that are sick and willing to try anything to get well.
Not just in my husband's case, but in a lot that I have seen through this forum - they are tired of being "sick".
I myself think that sometimes we are grasping at straws to get him better.
Is it not the same with the pharmacutical companies?
Maybe I say all this through frustration...
"try this, maybe it will work" is the same approach we have gotten from his doctor - I can see how some would be decieved to think the same way about other ads out there.
In the begining I didn't know enough( I still don't), and thought maybe there was something out there and we were just missing it...with that mentality, I could see "trying everything"
This forum has been a help for some, in somethings because you can ask other's opinions about how some things worked or didn't work for them. making a more informed decision.

I agree that bilking people who are suffering is evil. That's one reason the moderators here spend an incredible amount of their time removing spam and reporting spammers to the administrator.

There probably are some of these people who have convinced themselves that what they're selling works. And as for the people who buy, they are desparate. I just hate to see them throwing money away. It's easy sometimes to believe, because of the natural remission-flare course of UC. If I go shopping at Saks today and my UC gets better, then I go every Monday for the next three weeks and my UC is still better, it's tempting to credit "shopping at Saks" (or whatever) with the change. In the case of shopping at Saks, we know that's ridiculous, but with other things it isn't so obvious.

Hopefully some day there will be a medical cure, but we're nowhere close to that now.

I think we should all pay $1 each download it and then share the info ;)

I think probiotic is better than antibiotic!
