Harpo, this board is full of personal stuff.  Poop descriptions, smells, etc. Take it easy on Beth. Beth, I was 42 when I had my second child.  (I got married late).  Honestly, there are so many older moms in our crowd, I never think about it.  Some are 46 or so, and I am 54.  I never feel old.  Just take care of yourself, as best you can, and be the best mom you can be.  The older moms I know, seem happier and more relaxed than the ones who got pregnant earlier. Either way, try not to stress about it.  You will be more likely to conceive, if you aren't trying too hard:)

Don't judge others or try to make them feel bad about themselves for sharing their feelings.

Im just asking a question.. I would be pretty annoyed if my wife was discussing a problem like this that involved me without my knowledge on the internet.

Please don't be so defensive.

Your question was rhetorical, you knew I felt it was appropriate (otherwise, why would I have posted it?), you just wanted me to know that you felt it wasn't.

Yes, this is a support board, and many topics are brought up here because our UC affects so many aspects of our life. The greatest thing is that someone else might be dealing with this same topic (and it has been discussed before!) and reading about it just might help them. For inappropriate topics, the mods will step in to edit.

Im just giving you an opinion from a husbands perspective. You know that a forum is a place to discuss and voice an opinion right?

it's a support forum Harpo.......WOW, seriously????? You really just do not get it. You were not being supportive you were being judgemental.

This is not a place to judge others and try to make them feel bad about themselves.

I am not going to change your mind and you are not going to change mine, why don't we just move on?????? I am not into debating this with you any more, it's not worth it to me.

I was trying to pose that airing something so personal and current this publicly could possibly exasperate the situation.

That's exactly how I feel, you said it perfectly!  Though I get it, you do not.  You felt my topic was inappropriate and would feel upset if your wife did that.  Get over it, it's a message board, not sure why this topic got you so upset???

I just dont get why you would post something unsupportive to someone on a forum that is helping people talking about all aspects of their lives dealing with this disease.  Why feel the need to post at all in that situation?

Also I am very curious to know why you would even bother to read my post with a headline that very clearly states what my post is about?  If you feel it's so inappropriate why read it? 

Go to the moderator's if you feel it's inappropriate, that is what they are there for. 

I thought I was done but your little backhanded comment got me interested for a second. You are a complete contradiction.

I have overcome so much in my life, a stranger on the internet disagreeing with me is nothing.  So no worries, you have not upset me at all, you could not even come close.

Harpo -I'm curious why you would not want your wife to post the same thing online. You do realize this is an anonomous forum right? It is a great way to get the opinion of others without letting your secrets known to the public. If my husband and I had an issue and he wanted to go online and get the anonomous opinon of some people to see if what he was going to say/do was sensitive then I would be proud of him for caring so much about my feelings. I hope you are not one of those controlling guys that doesn't let his wife have friends... Yikes.

and the roid rage comment was just rude and uncalled for.
