Hi..wow, never heard of Konsyl...looks interesting.
You could divide the dosage and take it twice daily...too much fibre easily will give gut discomfort. Maybe take it after eating...??
You could ask the doc for cortifoam (not proctifoam)..it has more steroid dosage and is apparently easier to retain.
Regarding the CMV..just looked it up and it all sounds scary if that's what he thinks you might have. Is he thinking that since the Remi suppresses the immune system, the herpes virus is able to come out a bit?

You should use the enemas at least once a week, but tapered from nightly to that dosage.
If you have trouble retaining the full cortenema...using half at a time could be an option...but then I'd suggest foam over the liquid.
Rectal inflammation will come and go....but since it's the first to appear and last to heal, the enemas should really be part of your regimen.
