UC Triggers - Sudaphed?

Has anyone experienced problems after taking Sudaphed?  I was in remission for about 6 months and I've just started bleeding again.  I'm trying to figure out what may have triggered it, I took Sudaphed for about 10 days, but I also did taper off all my meds about a month ago.  And to top it off, this has been a horribly stressfull week (family death, possible job layoff)  I'm really hoping it wasn't the Sudaphed because it's the only thing that works when I get stuffy and congested.  Any thoughts?

My GI wanted to have me off everything except for the Remicade infusions.  I was really doing well, until this week. 

My GI had said that she had patients that were able to remain in remission with just the Remicade, and that was what she was hoping for me. I guess I'll probably have to go back on the Asacol. I don't think the 6MP did anything - I've been off that for almost 3 months now.

both nyquil and dayquil have antihistamines that will dry out fluid in the body...
understandable you didn't have symptoms.

When you do take antihistamines, make sure you get enough fluid...but I'm assuming you're liking the no gurgles or bms?

The one you have will probably be quite solid..
