Hi Carol, Well my son had his second infusion with Remi yesterday...and again, it went without any problems.
He really doesn't see any change in bowel frequency, still has 5 to 6 movements in the morning, a couple during the day. He gets up around 6:30 a.m. to start this routine so he'll be done by the time he leaves for his job.
He isn't feeling any pain or seeing blood, just kinda loose.
(I don't look, I ask and he tells me .)
He hasn't noticed any difference since he quit the Asacol either. Everything seems to be just like always.
When did you start to notice a change? You must have been on Remi about 4 years now?? Do you have what one would call, pretty normal bowel habits now? I hate to get personal here, but you seem to be the only one that has similar traits as my son. Trust me, I'm not some mother that hangs all over him with questions, but I notice this behavior cause he lives here. I try to be nonchalant about it as not to bug him. When he's not here I do wipe everything down with the antibacterial wipes, and keep things as clean as I can. He is a grown man, and should be out of here and have a life. I just want to know, that eventually, the Remi will put him in a remission where he'll have more confidence. So once again, thanks for any kinda reassurance.
