Well you assume incorrectly. I never said anything about
the animals being treated humanely- I just said the cut of beef they use is better than your average hotdog and they taste better. Personally I've never heard anyone say, government or otherwise, that kosher means humane. In fact if you look at the hebrew national website, they don't mention this anywhere, and simply say Kosher means "proper/fit to eat" in regards to certain strict dietary laws outlined in the Torah.
I've seen plenty of documentaries and I still eat meat. I would probably starve to death as a vegetarian because I think vegetables are gross. Sorry if that offends you, but it's what I like. Everyone can have their own beliefs about
whatever they want, and I personally couldn't care less what they are as I have my own beliefs as well and don't like to bring them into discussion and force them down other peoples' throats. :)
