Some Uc'ers can handle a couple doses of Nsaids. I am not one of them though. I don't think you (or your son) will know unless you try. Of course, RICE is always good - rest, ice, compression and elevate.

Yeah, I'm doing fairly ok. I am still having D and I have a scope scheduled in April - my 2 year colonoscopy. Overall I am feeling ok. It's dark and rainy here today. It's around 50 now but yesterday was absolutely beautiful! We got up to 70 and we had alot of sunshine.

I understand the fear but sometimes we have to weigh the pros and cons with everything we take. I'm not sure though that if his ankle is swollen that he should be playing. It can make things worse.

I was keeping an eye on my daughter too. She twisted her ankle playing basketball (she's on the girls junior high team) so we wrapped her ankle. It didn't swell up or anything, but it did hurt her when she walked. She didn't play much when her ankle was hurting but she tried. Normally to me she lets me know about every single ache and pain but she sucks it up for the coach! lol She also jammed her finger trying to catch the ball - now that swelled up.

I am really happy to hear Jackson doing better! I will hope it continues for him :)
