I started juicing about two months ago. After countless hours researching I finally decided upon the breville 800 JEXL, its great and does special things......hahahaha. On a serious note if you want to remove the juice from leafy vegetables your better off with an auger type juicer that turns slower and extracts more juice slowly. I think every juicer out their on the market thats decent is going to be a PIA to clean it just comes with the terrority. I usually just rinse mine off real fast. The only thing I upon up scrumbing usually in the metal screen.
On the the fun part, I make all kind of concoctions with my juicer. None of the drinks I make ever upset my stomach. I noticed a few people mentioned that it gives them mud butt sometimes, but it doesn't bother me. I usually drink this concoction:
1. (2) heads of brocolli
2. couple stalks of carrots
3. (8-10) brussell sprouts
4. (1) apple
5. (1/2) lemon
6. (8) stalks of asparagus
If you mix it right it doesn't taste to bad. I usually end up stirring it because it seperates in layers, kinda like when you mix different liquors together. The drink above usually comes out to like 24-32 ounces which is A LOT and sometimes its a PIA to drink all of it. I plan on cutting down on the quantity but haven't yet. Mine came with a receipe book but I haven't tried anything in their yet, but most of the drinks look pretty tasty.
