I had taken curcumin tablets in the past but with minimal to no effect, which made sense after I had found out that they are not absorbed but pass straight thru you. I then found a drink containing what the manufacturer called super activated curcumin, that is absorbed into the colon and your system more. I was actually looking into surgery, had my appointment already made when I started drinking Haldi. Within a couple weeks I was able to come down and then off my prednisone, no surgery, and I remain in remission drinking a few bottles a week. I used to spend money on teas and sodas, but have given them up for Haldi.(that helps even out my expense)
Interestingly enough, I also suffered from GERD, and now am off protonix. A recent study out of wisconsin I think talked about curcumin protecting esophogeal epithelial cells. It kindav makes sense now. I dont make it to whole foods a lot any more, so I get them online at Haldi4health.com.
I am a big believer in turmeric over the long term, I just cannot tolerate it or curry. They say it is good to prevent alzhiemers disease, I guess they eat it by the bunches in India right from when they are small.
