Today was my 50th birthday....and the sweet man I've been dating(?) has asked me to marry him! Four years ago I thought life was absolutely going to the heck of things, and now, life is wonderful. Thanks to all of you that have supported me throughout the many changes and challenges through my life the last few years. Without you, well, my good friends, life might not have been the same. Thanks! A very heartfelt thanks for the support. :-)

Thanks everyone! It was such a perfect weekend; we just enjoyed every minute. Last night we went for a romantic dinner at McCormick & Schmicks (a seafood restaurant) and then today brunch with my parents. It's nice to be in such a easy and loving relationship; I had almost given up on relationships! Thanks to all of you for all the support you've given me through my many trials over the years.

Awe Carol, I have tears in my eyes!! I am soooooo thrilled for you, it seems like just yesterday that we were all forcing you to go out with him. You are such a wonderful person and amazingly strong that with all you have been through you still have so much heart left to give. I will have to try and make a trip back out there sometime so we can have lunch again. Congratulations!!!! I couldn't be happier for you!! ((((((HUGS))))))

Well, I just had to share the news with my online family! :-) Em, we talked about that very thing the other night. I told him that I wasn't even sure if I wanted to date him, and that my friend Em and James said to give him a chance...or something to that effect! :-) Ha! Better yet, maybe I'll be in Florida for lunch sooner than you know.

Thanks Quincy; I'm looking forward to this age...it's just time to enjoy! He has two incredible kids; both older so they are like good friends. It's all good.

Thanks to all of you again....you are such a supportive group of folks.

happy birthday (belated), carol!!! :-) you sure your finger didn't slip there?........hit the 5 instead of the 4? that california girl couldn't possibly be 50. (not that there's anything wrong with that). i'm really glad to see you happy again. are you girls still getting together for lunch occasionally?
