Well stress, for me, is not that huge a deal when it comes to my UC - neither are genetics (nobody in my family has ever had any issues related to UC)... I'm on my way to figure out what else can be the cause, my main focus is on diet at the moment... as if you guys didn't get enough of my never ending obsession with it lol
I literally stopped bleeding, had no cramps, and did not even feel a slight need to go to the washroom more than once everyday for about
3 days when I fully quit gluen/lactose intake. Two days ago I figured that I should try and see if they would hurt me... so I had cereal in the morning, then cheese snacks, along with pizza and some more milk, little did I know I was pushing it. Last night and most of today were spent in the washroom for me! eventhough it may seem like bad news overall - it does indicate an intense reaction to these two food elements!
Is it possible to have UC that is fully based on diet? it's an umbrella disease - that's for sure - so the chances of that are still high eh?
I know two people from different ends of the issue, one is a man that only had to avoid dairy to literally beat the disease and the other is a woman that is on so many meds and has made a billion diet changes; none of which have even helped! this leaves me in awe since it emphasizes how unusual this condition is...
