MMS and sodium chlorite. Snake oil or miracle treatment

 

I found this on another board by someone who claims to have cured his U.C by using sodium chlorite and MMS

I would not mind trying this teatment on myself once I have done some research to see if MMS and sodium chlorite is safe and free from any major side effects.

Has anyone else tried this. See link below. The guy does not seem to be marketing any specific brand or product.

I say, you never know what will work or won't work until you try it...and what works for some doesn't work for all...

on that note, blueberries are suppose to aid with intestinal inflammation, so if you can tolerate blueberries why not give them a go...I'd imagine it's something you'd have to eat on a regular basis in order for it to heal...afterall, natural things have been relied on alot longer than man-made chemicals regarding healing.

I gave MMS a try last fall in an attempt to get rid of my UC. As described at the following link, all bleeding and mucus stopped by the fourth day of taking the stuff.

I had a colonoscopy in February where the doctor did lots of biopsies and within a week I began to flare. I tried MMS again at both a 10 drop and 6 drop dosage but it had no effect on my flare. Eventually I started with 1 drop and worked up to 4 before giving up (17 days total, 3 times a day). It seemed to help, I was peeing outside the times when I was forced to sit on the toilet and my abdominal pain went away, but I have been unable to make it to remission. Blood and mucus seems to be decreasing every day but I still use the toilet 4 to 5 times a day. Hopefully I'm now just waiting for my colon to heal itself.

During the worst part of my flare I had so much liquid coming out my behind that I never had the opportunity to pee standing up. As a guy, I really missed that.

Tried it, and still have it in my cabinet. Jim Humble failed me, or lied one.

It does not work on burns like it claims too. Tried it twice on myself, and once on the wife, lol. Manuka honey does work like claimed on the burns though.

Yes, I'm still around and I still have UC (my 2010 fall flare came on time as usual). MMS definitely kills stuff but chances are that it throws the baby out with the bath water so you end up needing to repopulate your gut with bacteria.

I wish I knew.
