you need to go on and get with a high risk OB. When i was pregnant i saw a regular OB who could deliver at a hospital with a NICU and then i also saw a high risk OB every 2 months, in addtion to seeing my regular OB every month. Every two weeks for the last 2 and half months, lol. I was a dr going fool!
I was seeing them because of hte meds i was on, more so than the UC, my UC went into complete remission, i was really lucky about
that.
But anyway, you should make sure you get to see a highrisk OB. I was about
6 weeks when i found out i was pregnant, i went to a high risk at about
2 months.
Also, just a forewarning, some UC meds, Asacol is one of them, can make you bleed easier so you could be at a higher risk for spotting. I had a lot of trouble with that, and went to the ER probably 5 or 6 times before, strangely enough, my dentist put together the fact that since my meds made my gums and other soft tissues bleed easier that it would make my cervix bleed easier also.
Not that i am saying its normal to bleed or anything, but just letting you know you may have more spotting than you would think.
