culturelle question

i tried taking culturelle for about a week. i started having blood again which i hadn't had in a while now im feeling worse and worse. my symptoms were never gone anyways. i would have a bm about an hour after everytime i took it. has anyone ever had blood after using culturelle? or do you think it could be from that? should i continue taking it? thanks for any advice

I have been using it - not really seeing much results. I am considering changing back to Garden of Life...they were more $$ but I think they worked a bit better.... I am bleeding too....trying to taper off pred but keep getting bleeding....and horrible joint aches..

I have never taken culturelle, but I started taking Align a week ago. I was very skeptical; I have taken several kinds of probiotics in the past, but I really feel great! I am taking 12 Asacol per day, along with the Align, and I really think Align has made a huge difference. I no longer have blood, and much less mucous, and only 1-2 BM per day (instead of freaking 10 give or take)...which are SHOCKINGLY...formed! ;)

Align is pricey; I paid $30 for a 28 day supply, but so far it is worth it. You might give it a shot if the Culturelle doesn't seem to help. Geez isn't it all trial and error? Good luck!

Been taking it for a couple of years now, I think it helps somewhat. The first week or two I recall being really gassy and feeling bloated as my system adjusted to the probiotic, but all fine after that.
