UC question..

I just had another colonoscopy a lil over a month ago and my doc said my colon looks much improved from prior scopes.  I think it may be from the colozal I've been on the last couple years.  Before that, the asacol didn't seem to help very much at all.  Anyway my question is do any of yall occasionally have a normal looking formed BM but still see some blood on the tissue paper??   I hadn't been experiencing any urgency or abdominal pain.  Just every now and then I'll have some blood (a decent amount) on the tissue.  I wander if thats hemrroids or what?    I do a good bit of weight lifting, so that makes me wander if its hemrroids from straining..  Do any of yall experience any occasional bleeding without being in a flare??  Thanks in advance for any responses, you all are very helpful!                                             Josh

I was wandering if pain was always a symptom.  Im not having any rectal pain, maybe some itching and thats it.

Anal itching can be a symptom of hemmies..internal and external hemmies can hurt depending on how big they are or if there's more than one at a time and as you said, weight lifting can sometimes contribute to hemmies...I have had blood with formed BM's in the past...are you straining much when you have a BM?

Definitely wouldn't hurt to get things checked out especially if it's a new symptom for you.
