I'm just saying that I haven't had to modify my diet since my diagnosis. I don't think the foods the OP listed are crap, so long as they aren't full of preservatives and eaten in moderation. What's unhealthy about homemade chili? My recipe includes ground beef, onion, garlic, jalapenos, pinto beans, tomatoes, and tomato juice. If I find that things are bothering me, I'll quit eating them.
I never said you or anyone in here ate crap, lol. If he was refferring to things he made at home from scratch, I wouldn't think it was full of preservatives. My understanding of the posters topic was him seeing other people eating while being out. My state and the states around me have the conept they can eat whatever they want with no ill reactions. That's the reason we are the most obese states in America. I have a guy with diabetes right now I am trying to convince to stop eating at McDonalds everyday...... I mean really.
