Do you get kinda frustrated every time you get sick, even if you it's 'normal' people sickness?

I feel like every time I'm sick with a cold or whatever is going around, I get kind of angry and frustrated about it - as if I'm not supposed to get sick like the rest of the world. 'Everday' sickness seems to be exaggerated by the fact that I am already dealing with my UC issues. I'm just venting, but feel free to share your experiences.

I feel the same way !!!!! Its like its always something with me uc a cold uc ,uc a seizure uc,uc a cold lol. It really gets to me i some times feel like less of a wife and mother .

Oh absolutely!!!! I take the time to be ticked off big time. I'm more ticked if I have to cancel something because of having a cold, especially if I've been looking forward to it.

I'm even more ticked if it's time I've got off after being busy and I'm spending it being sick...

Murphy's law only explains it...lol!

It's all a major inconvenience to life sometimes, but I eventually get over the feeling because I'm sure it hinders my healing somewhat.

     Nah, only thing which frustrates me is flaring so darn long and taking so many meds with such stinky results.

I don't enjoy being sick (nor does anyone else!) but I don't let it get to me UNLESS it makes me miss an outing that I was looking forward to and even then I just get depressed instead of angry.

I usually get mad cause I've noticed I tend to get flares around the same time I get sick. My two worst I had 1) two bladder infections back to back and 2) the flu.

I feel the same way. I think I hated having colds and "normal peple" sicknesses before I got UC too though.

I'm frustrated by how often my little nieces and nephews are sickly! Because of that, and since the family knows I need to avoid getting sick, many gatherings get postponed. We haven't celebrated my birthday yet, and it was in early June.

Fortunately, I rarely get sick. Maybe because I'm not around kids much. Of course now that I said that I'm in for some trouble.

Just having colitis gets me down sometimes. I feel like why me and fine I envy others that are so well. Then, I realize how lucky I am and how much worse it could be. Also, it makes me a more compassionate person in general. I don't take what health I have or life for granted anymore.

I do feel that way from time to time.  I'm home for a week with what we suspect is the H1N1 flu and am now taking Tamiflu.  Blah.  I get frustrated only because I have to miss work from time to time and would rather save sick days for potential flares, not this stupid stuff.  But we all get sick from time to time, I guess.

i infact feel scared.... i am sick already, dnt need anything more! yes! this problem has made me a scared person who is scared even to sneeze...i feel if i take any other medicine -it will give me a flare up!
