Maybe I should just have surgery = ever feel like this?

I know its a last resort. I'm on Remicade, but I'm feeling like crap! I'm 37 I have 2 kids and I just want to have energy and feel normal! I guess I'm just having a bad day!

My husband has uc and we are expecting a baby im due jan 25th,and thats his complaint too he wants to have energy and not feel like this after the baby is born. So we've been tallking abot surgery alot lately. From what we've read no one has regreted having the surgery done. But just know you're not alone we all want each other to feel better.

My doctor has just recently suggest surgery to me. I have been having the worst flare up I ever have had. I was hospitalized in May for the first time ever. It turns out I had a c. diff infection that was causing my severe cramping and tenderness. I am over it now, but I still am having problems. Lots of pain. Going to the bathroom 10 to 15 times a day and I have been on 40 mgs of prednisone for over a month.

Doctor has suggested Remicade, surgery or a study. I don't know what to do. I am 33 years old and was diagnosed with uc in 1995. I have one son but my new husband is hinting at more. I don't know how that will work with my condition. I just want to stop feeling bad, too. Tired of not being able to do anything. I'm too young to be confined to home.

Current meds
Imuran 200mg
Prednisone 40 mg
Levsin
Probiotic
AMP Floracel
Multivite.
