Burning feeling inside anus/rectum

Last two days I've had a burning feeling inside anus/rectum. Hard to describe but it either feels like something is raw in there or it feels like something is IN there. Any ideas? Ulceration? Hemorrhoids?

When I put the cheeks apart, feeling disappears. Really weird.

Have you taken a look to see what's going on?

Could be a fissure or maybe the anus is raw from wiping, or maybe a mild yeast infection..etc.

Some toilet paper brands do more butt abrading.

Have you recently changed soap/cleanser?

I've been experiencing this since my 1st j pouch surgery, starting while I was in the hospital still. When I use the muscles down there to push out the remaining mucous build up, it burns and feels painful in that area, the 'kegel' muscles I think. I've mentioned it to my doctors and they want to wait and see I guess, going to doctor again today. I'll update you on what he says for me.
