Does anyone know anything about LDN and it's results for colitis patients? I haven't found much on the web besides the fact that Penn State applied for and was granted funds (via NIH) to have some further clinical trials.

Some people here have tried it and have had mixed results. I think glamourgirl and miracles both tried it and neither had much of an improvement if I remember correctly. I hope you get some responses.

I've been on LDN for about 6 months now and my UC symptoms are somewhat better.  I seem to have more energy and I'm able to eat more like a regular person.  It hasn't been the miracle that I was hoping for though.  I had really good results the first couple of months after I started LDN...but like everything else I've tried (different diets, supplements, and meds), the good results seem to taper off.  I'm adjusting my dosage to see if I can recapture the results I had early on.

i tried LDN about a year ago and it did nothing for me!

Hi,

It makes me a bit skeptical when I read that Naltrexone can/ may help with so many different things. That sends a red flag up for me. Either it's truly the miracle drug or overated. I may talk with my doc about it though.
