Remicade - Acne

Anyone else using Remicade have acne breakouts?

I've never had more that 1-2 pimples at a time. I started Remi back in March ( every 6 weeks), andd while some time back I started to notice small (not very noticable), although acne on my head, now my back and shoulders seems to have seriously broken out. It's looking pretty angry.

Wondering if I should see the doctor for acne medication or just deal with it. Suggestions?

Though it might be prednisone, but I've been off it for about 2 weeks now.

I vote for the Pred. as the culprit. It wrecked my daughters face for awhile. The Dermatologist tried everything. She had chemical peels, Micro derm abrasions, took Differin, retinols, and Clindimin(Bad spelling, but it is a foam antibiotic topical). Eventually, the skin surface improved.
It was not affected by the Remicade in our case.

I'd also say it's the Pred. I've had no problems whatsoever with my skin while on Remicade. The pred acne is notoriously resistant to the treatments used for normal acne. Since you're off the Pred, it should start to get better soon.

It's taken my sking months to clear up since getting off the prednisone. I'm using a sulfatol cleanser and retinol from the dermatologist to assist.  I developed cystic type acne while on prednisone and had never had much in the way of acne issues prior.  Haven't tried Remicade.
