Proctofoam

I went back to my specialist today.  After reviewing the symptoms I am still having he precribed Proctofoam.  I have read a lot of people using foam on this forum but has anyone used the Proctofoam with any success?  It sure is expensive, even with insurance.

I think they are about the same thing.  I had check my insurance for the cort stuff and the co-pays are the same.  I have to pay $55.00.  I have tried enema's and just can't do them.  This is the foam. I don't know if it will be any better. 

He also gave me a prescription for some cream for the hemmorids.  Sometimes I don't know which is more aggravating..the UC or the hemmies that result.  I sit all day at work and wow..by the end of the day...OUCH.
