Yay, I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling better!
Life is so different without the urgency.
Quincy, re: the rowasa, before, I had it in my mind that I needed to try to keep it in as long as possible, with the goal of all night, so I'd use it right before I fell asleep. Almost if not every time, I'd wake up in the night needing to expel it plus more from my highly unhappy colon, which would take awhile to settle back down.
So by gently, I mean use it, keep it in for 30 min., and if it works a little longer ok, and then let it go. Then fall asleep, relaxed.
Also, since I have to use generic rowasa, and the insertion part of the bottle is awful, I switch the top of the bottle with a shorter one that's on the generic cortenema bottles I have.
In a week or so, I still might not be able to tolerate the rowasa, but at least I'm not feeling so compulsive on making it work and just taking a more gentle approach, hoping it just starts healing.
