Having a lot of trouble

i was diagnosted with ulcerative colitis in november 2008.  since then i have been getting worse.  i have blood and mucus on a daily basis only once maybe twice a day. i have pains in my stomach all over from under my ribs to my lower abdomen even on the sides of my stomach.  i am a worrier and just want to see if anyone else with this disease has the same problems. i take lialda twice a day and bentyl once along with ultram for the pain.  i called my doc and he is going to do a ct scan but i feel like i am aggravating him by calling constantly about these feelings.  i never felt this way or was as bad as i am now.  please any information would be wonderful!!

I just joined today and I was diagnosed with UC in June 2008 and was put on Lialda pills, which didn't work and mesalamine which worked right away which I thought was great. I was doing good with the disease had it under control until a month ago. No I have abdominal pain, cramping, I wake up in the middle of the nite to go to the bathroom, fun stuff. I feel ur pain and don't feel bad about calling the Doc

Hi Nicole, You don't mention how far up your UC goes. Fruitgirl is right about the rectal meds. You need to ask your doc about using an enema. Anusol is for 'roids isn't it. What fruitgirl is talking about is for UC.

What other medications are you taking?
