Sorry about
your DX and that you have to be here as a result.
If you're doing better on wheat, then stick with it, plus you want to make sure you're getting enough fibre daily (white aint right, full of sugar with little health benefit, whole wheat/grains are much healthier, same with your pasta noodles and rice).
You won't know if the Asacol will work if you don't try it, don't put it off based on other people's experiance, I can't take it cuz I'm severely allergic to it but that's me, for many others it works great and they've been on it for years, since it is a maintenance med. But you'll neer know if it works or not if you don't try it.
