well, yes & no.... I mean, we know what's ok for ourselves to eat, which may or may not be considered "good" for the average person to eat. But I wouldn't say I know more than anyone else at work- I find most people to be pretty health conscious nowadays. The days of Happy Meal lunches are long gone! Maybe it depends on where you live too- I live on Cape Cod, & most people seem to be fairly active, doing lots of outdoorsy stuff, & a lot of people are pretty wealthy. So, that group tends to eat better than an inner city, poor urban area. There are lots of places to buy local fresh produce, locally caught fresh seafood, etc. Supplementation, on the other hand- a definite yes! I know a lot more than the average person about good gut supplements. No doubt.
It's definitely opposite in this state and the surrounding states. It's amazing how much this changes depending on your region. Most of the south is HORRID on diet choices. Just look at our obesity rates.
