Day After Infusion

Well today is the first day after my first Remi infusion I am still having lots of D and urgency. But no blood at least. I am tired and feel foggy headed. Also fighting a mild headache. Hoping tomorrow I will not have D.

Susie,Still had putt putt putt :( Maybe it was the red meat that gave you trouble. Hope you are still doing better today.

Thanks for all of your well wishes everybody. Looking forward to a day when I am not so focused on what comes out of my bottom. :)

Hey GLOVE :)

Glad to hear that there is no blood at least... that's a good sign anyhow... Yes, the foggy headed thing for me was the worst.. I was on my couch all day when I wasn't in bed and just took that time to enjoy having nothing to do. Keep on top of the tylenol to keep that headache at bay, and drink lots of fluids. If you feel up to it, post later today and see if you are doing better.. The foggy headed and fatigue lasted about 4 days with me, but it did get better with each day that went by...

OH... and P.S... Yes, I'm doing better today.. almost got a good kerplunk today.. I think it definately was the red meat... lol....

     Glove....your symptoms the following day after the infusion sound exactly like mine.  I was a little disappointed but then every day thereafter was a significant improvement.  This morning my BM was a little on the soft side but formed.  I noticed just a tinge of blood but since I am still doing the rectal meds it may be from a hemmie.  No urgency.  What a relief!

     I see  my GI doctor within the next hour.

yeah, no blood is a great sign....it takes a little time to heal up and for the colon to start absorbing fluid again....
