Psyllium SEED capsules? Do they exist?

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for like the 45th thread about Psyllium Seed...it sure is a hot topic these days.

Anyway, I've been taking psyllium seed powder for about 6 weeks now and it's really made a positive difference for me. I'm not taking any psyllium husk at all (or any other fiber supplements, for that matter) currently.

I love the benefits of taking the powder, but it's really annoying to mix into food. I would love it if it were available in a capsule, but so far I've only found the HUSK in a capsule. Does anyone know if just the seed powder comes in capsule form?

I dunno, you could try Puritan's Pride online. Just type it into your address bar and a search should come up for that company, I don't remember the exact web address.

I found Solaray brand Psyllium seed capsules at my local health food store a few weeks ago. So, they do exist.

Yeah, I just bought some too! Now I'm just trying to figure out how many capsules are equivalent to the tablespoon of powder I was taking!

I saw the capsules too, but I am not sure they are worth it-they are a lot more money, and it seems like you would have to take a lot of them to equal the same amount of the powder!!

Let us know how it goes with the capsules!

I just buy the seeds and eat them raw
Or buy a capsule capper and do them yourself

My wife hates them 'cause they stick to everything but they make a difference

Also, anyone thought of buying the loose seed powder and making their own capsules to save money?

Thanks, thats where I shop all the time, I will get some, sure beats packing my own. When I feel I really need the seed, I buy the jumbo empty capsules and pack a bunch in one sitting. Not worth my time if I can get these.

How many 630 gram capsules do you take a day of the psyllium seed powder do you take? I'm taking now 12 a day of psyllium husk powder in 500 mg caps because it's cheap?

How many caps are people taking of the seed?

Law of diminishing return after about 1 teaspoonful for me.
