Feeling well but..........

I have not been on here for awhile as I was doing really well. However, for the past couple of days  have some kind of growth at the top of the crevace of my ass...lol. I still will never be used to talking about this stuff but I'm not sure what the hell it is. I don't have any blood or any pain, my stools look normal. I tried to see the darn thing but I can't in the mirror. However i can feel it. It feels amost like a pimple. I have done research and think it may be hemmhoroids? However, there is no irritation whatsoever, other than when i sit down, it feels like there is some kind of growth. I'm gonna get it checked out if it doesn't get better over the weekend. I am having a pimple problem for whatever reason. Any ideas ? Also, what are the symptoms off Anal polyps...could it be that?

Or if it's in the "crack" area it could be an abcess or soon to be fistula....external hemmies stick out of your anus, internal ones don't.

Check out this link, the first set of pic shows both kinds of hemmies (internal and external) the pic below that shows perianal crohn's skin tags (only related to crohn's not UC) doesn't hurt to look, afterall tons of people seem to get misDX between UC and CD....you can also google pics of "anal abcesses" and anal fistulas to see if any of those pics resemble what you have.

From the location you describe, it sounds more like a skin growth like Sherry mentions than anything having to do with the digestive system. The fact that you say you're doing/feeling well would also indicate it's unrelated to UC.

My guess is that it's a skin tag...my wife calls mine "Nebin"
