Every so often, I stop at my PO Box on the way to work in the morning. This morning I happened to stop and there was a homeless man sleeping inside the building. I went to the box and quietly got my mail out so I wouldn't wake or startle the gentleman. As I was leaving, I noticed several other people tiptoeing in and quietly greeting each other with good morning. It was a pretty awesome thing that everyone was so quiet and not wanting to disturb this person as he slept. It was just so human. It makes you stop and think about
what life is really all about
-- especially made me think about
how fortunate I am.

That is awesome. I feel so awful for them though. I lead a very comfortable life while others suffer. I would take UC any day if it meant a homeless person could have a home.

That was nice thing to do.... we say world was a better place in older times - no! people still care about
each other.... world is the same, its just human nature which feels any time other than 'present' is better.
yeah, we cry over our problem and there must be many with similar problem and no money for treatment.

I know, I felt so fortunate that I was on my way to work, in my car, just got up from a warm bed, and took a hot shower. Whether he knew it or not, the homeless gentleman sent a valuable message to me.

How rare, now a days people are so wrapped up in themselves, most wouldn't take the time to notice or even care....very refreshing for sure!
