Yep :) Here, the most significant West Australian earthquake occurred many years ago at Meckering in October, 1968. It basically destroyed the small wheat belt town, approximately 100 km east of us in Perth. We don't get cyclones (your version of tornadoes - except cyclones go in a clockwise direction down here, tornadoes go in an anti-clockwise direction), or ice on the road (we don't get snow at all!). The only thing in summer you really need to worry about are bush fires but that's only really if you live in the outer suburbs.
I'll trade you - I much prefer cold weather to the 43°C heat we've been having recently and I'd love to have snow at least part of the year.
