When I signed on to HW, just about all I was eating was potatoes, so it looks like I turned into one!

Mine is a nickname that came about from my last name. When I was pg with my oldest, I got to know a group of women on an expecting board (many of us are still friends and still travel to meet each other 5 years later), and they nicknamed me Supafly on a trip to Vegas. It got shortened to Supa, and it just stuck.

My youngest two brothers-in-law are often called Supa by their friends as well, and I think they find it odd that their brother's wife shares the same nickname, lol. Actually, i think most all of my brothers in law (I have 6-my hubby is one of 7 boys) have been called Supa through the years.

What an excellent thread!  I've been wondering about these (especially Elephant Pipe  :-)

I chose my name because I used to be such a crazy type-A, always doing something personality.  Instead of feeling down that I can't do things the way I used to, I try to remind myself that it this point in my life it's time to be gentle - and that's ok!

when i first met my hubby over 10 years ago, his DJ name was DJ Kazy..
then we started dating and im a girl and while trying to find a screen name for a yahoo account i came up with kazygirl and thats all my screen names now for everything.

mine is a nick name a girl in the 6th grade gave me and all my friends still call me and the 320 is my birthday.... im from asheville but moved away a couple years ago... its beautiful snowy right now

I love dog sledding and really cold weather. -20 F degrees is very comfortable for me. Dancing is another passion of mine. Hence the subzeromambo.

I chose Mercury 28 because I absolutely love freddie mercury, the one thing that picks me up when I am down is queen songs.Oh and I am 28 years old :o)

My name just describes me.  People always tell me how calm I am but on the inside I've got a zillion things running through my brain. 

Also I love this thread...I often wonder about people's names...it's interesting to see the reasons.

mmc is the hospital I go to and when I was younger I used to put a sign on my door that said princess. It just kind of stuck.

Gentle Now- I'm a huge type A as well, and it's been so hard for me to realize I can't juggle the workload I used to. I can no longer work 2 jobs and have time for a long distance boyfriend and several gaming groups. Or go to school while working and being a student leader. I always have to remind myself to slow the hell down.

Very fun reading about you all. What a varied group of interesting backgrounds and ages.

Imagardener2 is my name from another group (GardenWeb where I hang out in the Florida forum). There was already an imagardener so tacked on 2.
My small garden gives me both pleasure and stuff to eat to help my colitis. I'm currently growing collards, cabbage, lettuce and chard. I don't use pesticides both for me and the bees and butterflies. I grow some plants just for the butterflies to lay their eggs on which turn into caterpillars and eventually more butterflies.

I'm 50...something and except for this darn UC am in good shape, happily married. I am determined to find a personal cure through diet although am not averse to pills if they fix it not just maintain the status quo.

im Tazbum because my hubbys nickname at school was Taz, and now they call me Mrs Taz ... and the Bum bit is cos i got a sore bum :(

Mine isn't any fun. I adore calla lilies. I think they are so simple and elegant. And 22 is just a random number I chose. I'm the least creative person. My brother got all the creative juice (he's a painter)

A week from today is my 5 year anni with HW. I can't believe it's been that long!

It seems like yesterday that you signed up with HW Sam....time flies by so fast. I think it's awesome that the HW veterans can literally grow up together! Heck I remember when you got so excited to be graduating from high school! :) lol

Mines pretty simple. It comes from my birth year which is 79 and my APBTs nickname which is Doz (short for Dozer).

I've used RH Texas Gal for years ... in my favorite Dean Koontz forum, Texas Gal was taken (I'm Texas proud and did not want to lose the Texas part) so I went with my hair color at the time - red. Red Headed/Haired Texas Gal ... while I decided to go back to being brunette, I keep the screen name ....

My name is simple, my favorite word to use around my kids at work is Sweetie, and 31105 is my wedding date. :)

Jars05: I love Jars of Clay too... but 'course I have many other favorites, DC Talk is my #1, they were my first concert I went to as a child. Nice to have something music wise in common on here. :-)
