Butt wipes

I've seen Cottonelle wipes near the toilet paper, but wonder how they compare price-wise to the baby wipes. It seems that companies charge more for a "new specialty product" that's the same darn thing as a product that's been around for a long time! I think you're supposed to be able to flush the Cottonelle wipes, but I don't think I'd do that, especially if you're on a septic system. I know you can't flush baby wipes. I think it'd be fine to wrap them in a bit of toilet paper and drop them in the trash.

I know my pediatrician didn't want us to use baby wipes on our kids because he thought they were hard on the skin.... but that was some years ago; they're likely better now.
However, the cleanliness factor is so nice with the wipes....

I use the Cottonelle wipes; they're right there in the same section as the paper is. They flush with no problem, although again, I wouldn't flush them if you have a septic system. I used to carry a few in my purse in a zip-lock bag.

I have to tell you, though, when in a bad flare, with a sore and bleeding bottom, I blot with tp then reach for a cloth and hot water. It doesn't even bother me to wash the cloth out after, and it's so soothing.

Aquaphor is also a life-saver for me.

I find I'm bothered by many of the chemicals in other wipes, but found wipes made by Natracare which are quite nice and gentle. They're next to the feminine products. They come in a handy pack I can carry in my purse, and are gentle and convenient.

I use cottonelle too. I bought the little sealed box and some refill packages. There's nothing worse than a raw butt from D and using tissue paper like TP

I use regular toilet paper and wet it with water from the faucet. All bathrooms should be made with a sink next to the toilet.
