Howdy!
I'm no dietician but I share the same goal as you. I'm scrawny and really light. Just two days ago I came across "the daily plate" website. It will let you input your height, weight, and weekly goals and then formulate a caloric intake to meet your specific needs. For example I'm earig about
2900 calories a day in order to put on 1.5 lbs a week.
The site will also track whatever you eat, then forumulate tables showing howuch fat, protien, carbs etc you are taking in and compare it to values you should statistically need.
Keep in mind it doesn't compensate for malabsorbtion due to uc. Thankfully I don't.... Yet.
This might be a good tool for you to use, it's sure helping me out. It's also free. So check it out, can't hurt!
Edit: I'm doing this alongside a weightlifting workout routine. Exercise will tell your body where to put the extra calories instead of adding pure fat!
