sore bum-rectum

Hi all

Im on 25mg Pred, 1.5 grams salofalk granules .... im having 3 poops in morning ... one after the other .. and after my rectum is sooo painful,,, and into the morning ive got really awfull pain down below ... its awful ... Ive taken some painkillers to ease it this afternoon :(

I think the harder poops are upsetting my bum ????????????????????????????

Im thinking you could be onto something ... Im going to have a bath later and will take a look see ! It hurts when I sit down so it could well be hemmys ... ohh blooming hell .. if its not one thing its another... Im not taking any rectal med but I do have some mesalazine suppositories???

You should take the 5ASA supps anyway. But yes...take a look.

Does it hurt when you have a poo...meaning like cramping inside? during the day afterward?

External hemmies will have your butt looking swollen and blueish..lol. External creams as suggested...even over the counter hydrocortisone helps.

If your butt is red and really irritated from wiping, etc...could be a bit of a yeast infection. Canesten cream helps a lot!

Oh what one little area can cause....agony of the worst proportions!

lol does feel like I have a tazmanian devil spinning in it at the mo lol !!!

I dont think I have external hems .... but there alot of swelling especially after I have pooped :( feels lie my arse is falling out lol!!

But its the pain in my bum when im standing and if feels like its in my ladies bits too like a really heavy period throb ??? i think its a flare in the rectum .. i suffer proctitis and pan colitis
