Canasa and Proctofoam

why dont you do it the other way around? canasa in the morning and the foam at night? i would think this would be more comfortable. Are you flaring even though you are on humira? the same happened to me many times until i finally got off it. What are your symptoms right now?

I never stopped flaring when I started the Remicade. Been on the Humira for 8 weeks. I just dropped the script off for the Proctofoam. The girl said it comes in spray or cream. He told me it was topical. How do I use it? I thought it was in enema form. Do I just rub it on my skin? I am totally confused.

I used Proctofoam - it is very easy to use - foam in a canister you shake and insert tip in rectum.  It stays in good because it is foam and spreads out inside to inflammed areas.  However, I used it at night and suppository in morning.  Hope it works for you.  I ended up with Cortifoam which I understand is stronger but same application.

Proctofoam is the best treatment that i have used in all my years of having this disease.Purely because it eases a lot of the pain in that area. ;)
