Help! Any Suggestions?!

I go to see my GI tomorrow and would like to take some new drug treatment suggestions with me thatn maybe some of you have tried? I am currently on Imuran but I am getting skin ulcers and the scary part is that they are showing up only on moles...I am worried about that. I have been through everything from REmicade to Dexamethasone to prednisone. I have also been on 2 study drugs and Remicade all of which I got nasty side affects from and they had to take me off them. Tomorrow , the study nurse will be there again and while I know that the studies are good and the only way to get to some sort of sure, I have had nothing but bad luck with them and am let feeling like dirt because the particular study nurse I have seems to think I am doing these things to myself to knock s=down her study....which is the farthest thing from the truth. I really don't know how you can give yourself skin ulcers all over your body?? Anyways I am nervous about being presured into another one without being given time to come home and think it over. So does anyone out there have any suggestions on anything that has helped them? I have been in a flare since 2005! The Imuran did stop the bleedinf up until a month ago and as of today, I am passing ALOT of bloody mucous. The pain and stinging is getting to be unbearable again as well. I do not want to have surgery as I beleive they will find somehting out there for me, it's just trial and error unfortunately.

So an suggestions, I would greatly appreciate!!!

Hi ds....you're definitely between a rock and a hard place considering the meds you've already been on.

Have you not tried any of the 5ASA meds....oral and rectal?

Would you mind to change the colour of your signature to one that's easier to read?

Imagardener2: I haven't heard of this but would like to know more....the only thing I see in your profile though that I know I can't do is nuts....everytime I put one in my mouth...bad things happen...I love walnuts and almonds but it seems nothing agress with me?

what is that? anything to stop the throbbing and pain would be great. The tylenol and other heavy pain killers they've given me don't really do anything but make me queasy so anything else I would definately try to get rid of the pain or at least ease it a bit. The pain is so bad sometimes that I mistake it for having to actually go to the bathroom and whne I try it just bleeds.
