Constipation is what I monitor now that all my other worse symptoms have left the body
My friend a nurse practicioner rec'd Citrucell (NOT Citracal lol) and it has definitely helped.
Fiber is a tricky thing, sometimes it can actually contribute to my C. Some days none of my "tricks" (like yours) work.
My final trick is to drive to a big store (WalMart) and start walking around it (a mall would be good too). Walking around my house and yard never works but put me in a public place and start walking, goodbye big C
Reminds me of musical chairs except the ladies room is where I need to be when the music stops.
I don't eat a lot of fiber, still working toward that healthy gut on the SCDiet. Soluble fiber vegetables has been better for me than insoluble fiber. And adding Citrucell was a good idea. I also really recommend fish oil and coconut oil for C.
And yes enemas can be very helpful too.
