I have ulcerative colitis and it's ruining my life!

2 Years ago I had to get blood transfusions for it and this year I was in the hospital for a week in April. It's better enough to where they discharged me but it's ruining my quality of life.

I can't go anywhere without worrying that I am going to have to randomly go to the bathroom. I can't ride the bus, I have to randomly get off to go to the bathroom. I can't eat anything. I can't sleep. It is an auto-immune disease and I get sick with everything else too. I feel like crap all the time. I feel like I am 90 years old but I am only 20.

The emotional toll that this is taking on me right now is too much. I need someone to be there and go through this with me. I can't do it alone anymore and act like nothing is wrong. Living alone is probably the worst thing you can do when you have this disease.

I need someone now.
I have lost all my friends and have no one. If if there was anyone I could talk to that would understand please talk to me.

Yes, UC is a rotten disease. That's for sure.
Tell us more about yourself! How old were you when you were diagnosed?
What meds have you tried, and what are you taking now?
What do you do to take care of yourself?

And, goodness, why have you lost your friends? - have you just been out of the loop because of UC and they've moved on without you, or is it something more? Sounds like you could really use someone to talk to!

asacol and prednisone
sleep and only eat like rice and break im so lonely yeah i lost all my friends really i really need someone to talk too baddd

Hang in there, with the right meds, diet and supplemts you can live a good if not close to normal life.
