Boxermom,
I am sorry for you and your husbands loss. Please take care of yourself now and know it is not your fault. Like many have said, so many healthier women have miscarriages.

My heart goes out to you Boxermom..it is probably automatic for us woman with UC to think that our illness would have somthing to do with it..but mostly likely it was just nature...I hope you are able to get over this hump smoothly...(((((((hugs)))))))

My GI doc called me last night.  He made me feel a little better and assured me that it wasn't the UC that caused this.  Deep down I know it wasn't. It was that darn SCH bleed.  I took a step forward today and called a fertility specialist and a new obgyn.  I am going to try again right away if all tests prove ok.  This baby was a surprise and unplanned.  I just finally got out of denial and lost it.  I will never forget the horrible ordeal.  Hopefully, God will bless us with another baby and it will work out.  Thanks everybody for all your kind words and support.  It really means a lot.

I'm glad you're feeling a little better!!! I had a miscarriage in March and it feels horrible. We want to start trying soon too, but I'm still in my first Flare. It's getting better with Rowasa though. Good luck and I'm sure God will bless you with a beautiful baby :)

Missey- I have been in a flare for almost two years. I am just going for it with the flare. I am going to be 40 in August so time isn't on my side. I found this pregnancy didn't make a difference on the UC. I continued my meds and things as usual. Granted I wish I wasn't flaring but I won't let that stop me again this time. I am feeling mad now and determined to have a healthy baby. I am going to really fight for this.

This was going to be our first. I am only a Boxermom to two beautiful Boxer dogs. It was a surprise baby.

I am so sorry. I wish you luck in getting pregnant again and having a healthy pregnancy.

I miscarried early on in a flare and then had a successful pregnancy right after while still flaring.
