Fluttering

Hello all. I haven't been on here for a very long time.  However, I am experiencing an unusual symptom.  I have a fluttering on my left side.  It is painless but annoying.  It feels just like being pregnant with a baby kicking me.  It is always in the same place.  It happens many times per hour.

I do have a little diverticulosis and have been in remission for UC for 4 years.  Right now I'm having some other discomfort in my colon but no diarrhea.  I'm a little more achy than usual and am feeling significant fatigue.

Any ideas?

No, I haven't tried anything because I didn't know what this was. What are colon spasms?

I've had fluttering as how I think you're describing, more like lots of movement as Sherry described but painless. Different than gas spasming.

I've also had like muscle twitching fluttering feeling...but it's obvious it's not my colon. Feels very weird and don't get that too often.

It could be that you're having early symptoms of mild inflammation....are you having any other symptoms as in change of stool ... skinny stool? more like constipation?

Do you have rectal meds...you might want to consider trying them if it continues.

Have you been feasting on anything new lately? taking any new probiotics or fibre? That can cause some movement if it's newly started.
