extreme swollen lips

hey I had extreme swollen lips, especially the upper, since I was 12, operated when 15. Got my first bloody D when I was 21.
Now Im 25

Are there anybody else had or seen this?

I wonder if theres any link.

Well if your swollen lips are due to inflammation then there could be a relationship. Supposedly all of us with UC are at risk for other inflammatory illnesses and that list is fairly extensive.

Not for me...in fact my lips are rather on the small side. Do you know what caused your lips to swell?

thanks for your answers.

I had my doctor saying I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis.
But according to some articles this lip thing, is a pre sign of crohns.
Which really confuses me, I want to know my desease to be avaiable to search for right cure.

I got the same as number 12. If anybody knows anything about it please tell me.
