First, that "pus" thing, is the grossest thing I've ever heard! I will never touch non-organic dairy again!
I have always been a big dairy lover since I was a kid, but had to give it up a year and a half ago because it was clearly causing me huge bloating and gas and was probably also causing flaring of the UC.
A week ago, I was told about Jini Thompson's website on the Fecal Transplant forum and after reading a great deal about Raw Milk, I decided to try it.
Raw Milk is legal in my state for "pet consumption". But in my area, there are clean, organic farms, with grass fed cows using sterile equipment, flash cooling the milk to 34 degrees as soon as it comes out of the cow, and they offer tours of the farm.
I started drinking the raw milk 4 days ago and I've seen a great improvement in my symptoms! Now, I've worked hard for the last 6 month and I have gone from tons of meds (prednisone, asacol, flagyl, cipro, lomotil) with 20+ bm's daily, bleeding and horrible cramping... to no meds, no bleeding, and semi-solid to liquid bm's 1 to 5 times a day. But i want to be completely well.
I recently tried fecal transplants. This helped some in that my stools became more solid and less frequent, but I had terrible gas and bloating. It was probably a missmatch with my donor, but you can't just ask anyone to do this. You have to be close, and they have to be healthy.
So, I tried the raw milk, and I feel great! The gas a bloating are gone. I'm down to 1 or 2 mostly solid bm's in the morning. However, I'm producing more mucus, and I'm having one or two small bm's of mucus in the evening, or maybe one at night. It's wonderful to have the work day free from the need to find a bathroom. I'm going to keep doing the raw milk. I may go to a raw milk fast where I eat nothing but raw milk. Here's a link for finding raw milk providers in your area:

If it lands you on Georgia, just scroll up to find the all the states at the top of the page.
I also take Jarodophillous and a high quality multivitamin.
Cheers Everyone!
