For the past year the bottom of my feet hurt - mostly first thing in the morning. I do stretches before I get out of bed - that helps some. I mentioned it to the doctor and all he could say is - probably the shoes I'm wearing.....(I disagree with that). I haven't been to a foot doctor yet. A friend of mine has the same feeling in her feet......she is going to therapy they said she had plantar fascitis.
I did have some blood work done a month ago and I was low on Vitamin D (on med's for that) - I was also having issues with cramps in the bottom of my legs - not sure if that could be part of the problem. I am about 20 lbs over weight (working on that) and my UC has been active off and on for some time now.
I realize this doesn't help you much - I don't want to go on any more med's - I think thats half the problem all the drugs that get perscribed to people - you take one thing and it causes another and so on. I am doing all the research I can into GMO's and find that very intersting. Maybe with all these additives they put in food is a cause for all the problems we are having with UC etc. I think the more we can research on our own the better off we will be. Doctors can only perscribe pills, they can't tell you that the diet we eat has a lot to do with the issues most people half. Good luck -
