i was always constipated when i was dx......used to sit for hours and all that came out was goat droppings...
Then i changed my diet.... i eat lots lots of salad...i get organic salad leaf box we get at Costco- and take a week to finish it. Every evening i add some fruits (strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes, apple, peach, pear - whatever fruit i can get in that season)...add little yogurt, pick of salt, pinch sugar... and mix well. Add sunflower seeds & walnuts on top...this is my dinner plus yogurt/fruit smoothie or 1 slice whole wheat bread. This helped me! Also i do not eat anything which is low in fiber- no pizza, white bread, cheese, big NO to italian food! I saw u r 'vegan' in your signature and i am guessing u must be already following something similar.
