I was going for an ultrasound for a suspected aortic aneurysm that was coincidental to high LFTs. My GP figured we'd kill two birds with one stone and wrote the ultrasound scrip for possible aa and possible enlarged liver. No aa and no enlarged liver.
(I keep telling myself that one of these days I'm going to stop listening to doctors.)
My GI wasn't satisfied with that, so he wanted an MRCP and a biopsy. I agreed to the MRCP at first and refused the biopsy. Then, I did some more research and decided to cancel the MRCP and wait for more blood tests.
The LFTs went back to normal, so at least I saved myself some time and aggravation.
