I noted a floater developing in my vision while I was on no meds in my right eye. Shortly thereafter I went on a 60 mg pred taper and I noted a huge increase in the number of floaters in both eyes. What's wierd is that I have been on pred tapers before with no eye issues. With this last one I develped a sensitivity to light, floaters and some dry eye stuff. It really freaked me out and I went to 4 different eye doctors, M.D.s They each did their complete examinations and said all was normal. 3 of the 4 said they had the floater themselves and have gotten dry eyes of the years. It's a normal process of getting older and they informed me not to worry about
it. One of the doctors told me he can make his floaters dance. Another told me that while he is doing surgery he has to move his floater out of his vision because it floats in his direct line of vision while he is doing delicate surgery.
So, probably the pred but it's not serious and I wouldn't worry about it.
