Hi...no apparent problems with the Rowasa nightly...unless you're sensitive to something in the Rowasa. You should have had more improvement with being on nightly...I would think maybe adjusting and trying the cortenema or alternating it with the Rowasa.
If you are sensitive to the Rowasa, maybe the 4g is too high a dosage...or possibley something in the Rowasa such as the preservative which is metabisulfite. You can get the ones without that preservative.
Travelling can be hard on the system, especially if it causes more stress.
I think you should set up an appointment eventually for a c-scope. When was your last one?
Oh, how many asacol are you on now and how many Lialda were you on?

Thanks qunicy!
i dnt think i am sensitive to anything in Rowasa, it works fine for me. I was just worried if prolonged use can cause side effects as it has already been 9 months. I will take GIs appointment & i will ask him for scope.... will have to wait nearly for a month before i get his appointment date as he his always booked...also i will be able to have a clearer picture how the change to Asacol worked for me within a month.
I was on Lialda 4 daily tablets and now taking Asacol 3tablets 3 times (=9)daily....though he said that he should put me on 4 tab 3 times (=12) daily but he wanted to check how i work with 9 Asacol daily....and he would increase it if required.
Yes travel gets me all tensed up abt packing, itinerary etc ...and gives me a flare up.. tension is number #1reason for my flares... remember i told you we were planning a family & i was on hormonal meds to be able to concieve....my GI said exactly what you told me earlier.... hormone levels r not letting me get into remission....he was very concerned abt my hormone meds. Have postponed babymaking for some time now
